How to win

Timed multiple-choice. Each correct answer bumps your multiplier by 0.5× up to 3×. Wrong answer or timeout resets you to 1×. Highest score when the deck is done wins.

What happens in a game

  • Stack the ×Consecutive correct answers climb the ladder: 1× → 1.5× → 2× → 2.5× → 3×
  • Beat the clock1000 points at the buzzer, decaying to 500 as the timer runs down
  • One slip resetsWrong answer or timeout drops you back to 1× — consistency beats speed
  • House modeNo theme, no gimmicks — just pure formative assessment at Splycr pace

Why it works in a lesson

Splycr is the safe default — the mode a teacher grabs when they want pure formative assessment without a theme. The streak multiplier rewards sustained accuracy over reckless speed, which shifts the classroom psychology away from 'fastest wins' and toward 'don't break the chain'.

Why splycr has eight game modes, and when to use each

The other game modes

Every mode plays from the same card set, so changing mode never means rewriting questions.
